קבורת כלב ואדם יחדיו מעידה על קרבה וקשר חזק ביניהם. קבורה זו היא אינדיקציה ראשונה לביות הכלב בלבנט. ידועות שתי קבורות של אדם עם כלב מן התקופה הנטופית, זוהי הקדומה שביניהן.

Getting Here and Parking
The Museum is located on Kibbutz Ma’ayan Barukh.
Visitors coming from the south: Drive northbound on Route 90 toward Kiryat Shmona, continue north through Kiryat Shmona (Route 90 becomes Tel Hai Avenue).
Turn right (east) at Metzudot Junction to Route 99. Continue 5 km eastbound and turn left to Kibbutz Ma’ayan Barukh. Continue straight. After entering the kibbutz gate, turn left at the traffic circle and the Museum will be on your right.

אבן יד
אבני היד הם הכלי האופייני לתרבות האשלית מתקופת האבן הקדומה.
אבני יד הם כלים גדולים בעלי חורפה חדה המסותתים על שני פניהם. לכן הם נקראים כלי חיתוך גדולים או כלים דו פניים.
אלפי אבני יד נאספו מהאתר של מעיין ברוך. אבני היד מסותתות בטכניקה מתקדמת המעידה על מיומנות גבוהה של הסתתים הקדמונים ומתאפיינות בסימטריה ובאסתטיקה יוצאות דופן.
התקופה הנאוליתית
גולגולת מטוייחת – בייסמון
מנהג הסרת הגולגולות וציפוין בטיח נפוץ מאוד באתרי הניאולית הקדם קרמי בלבנט. הגולגולות המצופות והמעוטרות נקברו בד"כ מתחת לרצפות הבתים, ייתכן כחלק מפולחן.
בבייסמון נחפרו שתי גולגלות מטוייחות זו לצד זו. אחת הגולגלות נמצאת במוזיאון ישראל והשניה במוזיאון האדם הקדמון. הגולגלות נמצאו מתחת לסף העשוי טיח בכניסה לבית הניאוליתי.
